Waikiki Inspiration

I was watching YouTube and came across Petrilude's Waikiki at Sunset tutorial and it is amazing. He is so talented and I cant help but watch.   I love the colors and the transformation in this video (Link to video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6F17gYdvt8I)  This was so gorgeous I had to give it a try.  This is my interpretation of the look.

I used UDPP as my primer, MAC Painterly Paintpot as a base (closest I had to white).  All of the colors on my lid and lash line were from the Coastal Scents 88 Matte Palette.  On the water line and tight line I used Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide On pencil in Zero.  I used Maybelline Lash Stiletto to create the flick.  For mascara I initially applied L'Oreal Telescopic in Carbon Black and then applied a few coats of Cover Girl's Lash Blast (Orange Tube).

The brushes I used were nothing fancy.  I used a Studio Tools Flat Shader brush (Target) to pack on color and the Divine Large Eyeshadow Brush (black handle - Coastal Scents).  This was a fun look to do to occupy some time on Saturday evening :)
